The recent warm temps are increasing rattlesnake activity throughout the Bay Area. High temperatures are forcing snakes to search for cool retreats which leading to an alarming jump in snake activity around homes. If you have dogs and live in an area known to have snakes we encourage you to consult your vetrenarian regarding the rattlesnake vaccine.
